Camping

We have two main campsites at Lorne called Gibson and Dickson which are exceptionally well equipped for group use.

Each campsite comes with a permanent altar fire place, access to toilet and showering facilities and a purpose built campsite hut which contains camp catering equipment, a food prep area and a fridge/freezer.

Groups can choose from three different pricing options:

• Unequipped: if you have all your own equipment you can book our site on an unequipped basis. We will provide you with an area to camp suitable for the size of your group and access to toilet and showers. This option is great for DofE groups and those wanting to keep costs down.
• Equipped with own tents: This option is perfect for those who have access to their own tents but want to make use of the excellent camping facilities we have on-site.
• Fully Equipped: We can provide you with everything you need to camp with your group including lightweight tents.

Gibson and Dickson both boast a purpose built sheltered area which can be used for everything from eating to crafts.

These are beautiful purpose built shelters and the wood used to build them was all sourced from Lorne Estate.
