• Start from Belfast City Centre and head towards the A2 Sydenham Bypass, following signs for Bangor / City Airport.
• On your left you will pass a Spar Filling Station, the Culloden Hotel and then Folk and Transport Museum.
• Lorne Estate will be clearly signposted on your left-hand side at a set of major traffic lights (there is a sign that says 'The Guide Association Lorne House')
• Drive down Station Road for a short distance and just beyond the bridge you will see a golf club ahead of you at the fork in the road. Lorne Estate is on your left-hand side

• From Bangor, take the A2 Belfast Road heading towards Holywood / Belfast.
• Continue on the A2 for approximately 5 miles
• You will come to a major junction, turn right onto Station Road (there is a sign that says 'The Guide Association Lorne House'). If you pass The Culloden/Folk & transport museum you have gone too far.
• Drive down Station Road for a short distance and just beyond the bridge you will see a golf club ahead of you at the fork in the road. Lorne Estate is on your left-hand side.
