Looking for something different, exciting, and a little bit daring? Our Crate Challenge Belfast is a unique outdoor adventure that tests balance, teamwork, and bravery as you build your way skyward.
Perfect for groups of all kinds, this activity combines strategy, communication, and a healthy dose of laughter as you stack crates into a towering structure and climb as high as you dare...but be careful, one wrong move and your tower could come tumbling down!
What to Expect
Your group will be brought to the activity site where the session begins with a full safety briefing - including a head-to-toe check to ensure hair is tied back, clothing is secure, and footwear is suitable. Once everyone is ready, participants are kitted out with helmets and harnesses and guided to the crate stacking area.
Here, the instructor explains how the challenge works and assigns roles. Two people will start as climbers, while two will act as builders. As the climbers ascend, the builders stack more crates beneath them, helping them reach new heights. The team continues to build until they run out of crates, reach the time limit (for larger groups), or the stack inevitably topples!
Once the climbers are safely lowered back to the ground, roles are swapped - the builders become climbers, and new participants take over the building. This keeps everyone involved and ensures there’s never a dull moment.
This activity is ideal for anyone, even those who aren’t confident with heights, as each climber controls how high they want to go. With up to four people involved at once, it’s a fast-paced, exciting, and inclusive experience that builds adrenaline, laughter, and team spirit the higher you climb.
