Lorne Estate is home to two fantastic campsites, Gibson and Dickson, both designed to make camping easy, comfortable, and fun.

Each site features a permanent open-air fire pit—perfect for evening storytelling, marshmallow toasting, or just relaxing under the stars. You’ll also have access to modern toilet and shower facilities, and a purpose-built campsite hut stocked with catering equipment, a food prep area, and a fridge/freezer, making group meals that little bit easier!

Groups can choose from three different pricing options:

Unequipped	For groups with their own camping equipment, Lorne Estate offers the option to book our campsites on an unequipped basis. You’ll be provided with a designated camping area sized to suit your group, along with access to modern toilet and shower facilities. Ideal for Duke of Edinburgh groups, budget-conscious parties, or anyone looking for a more independent camping experience while still enjoying the convenience and stunning surroundings of Lorne Estate.
Equipped with own tents	Ideal for groups who bring their own tents but still want to enjoy the full benefits of Lorne Estate’s well-equipped camping facilities. You’ll have a designated camping area tailored to your group size, access to modern toilet and shower blocks, and use of the site’s communal areas, including fire pits and sheltered spaces. It’s a flexible, convenient, and cost-effective way to experience the adventure of camping while enjoying the safety, support, and amenities of our on-site facilities.
Fully Equipped	We can provide everything your group needs for a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience, including lightweight, easy-to-assemble tents. In addition to tents, our fully equipped campsites offer access to modern toilet and shower facilities, communal fire pits for evenings under the stars, and sheltered areas for dining or group activities. This option is perfect for groups who want a hassle-free camping experience, with all the convenience and support of Lorne Estate’s excellent on-site facilities.

Purpose-built sheltered dining

Both Gibson and Dickson campsites feature purpose-built, sheltered areas that provide versatile spaces for dining, crafts, or group activities. These durable shelters were constructed using sustainably sourced wood from Lorne Estate, combining practicality with environmental responsibility. They offer a protected space, making mealtimes and activities more enjoyable on those wetter days!
