Girlguiding at Lorne Estate - 80 years and counting!
Lorne Estate has been home to Girlguiding Ulster since 1946. Thanks to a group of amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly to breathe new life into every corner of the 21 acres, Lorne Estate quickly became a vibrant hub for camps, trainings and adventure. Over the decades, it has grown into a place full of memories - from first campfires, to friendships forged in the great great outdoors.
Nearly 80 years later, Lorne Estate continues to grow and transform. What remains the same though, is that Girlguiding remains at its heart. Adventure has always been a cornerstone of Girlguiding, helping girls and young women to develop confidence, resilience, and leadership in a supportive and fun environment. We are truly blessed to have such an incredible resource, accessible to every member of Girlguiding Ulster.
