The Summer Adventure Scheme at Lorne Estate is the perfect opportunity for boys and girls aged 7-14 to experience the great outdoors, make new friends and take on thrilling challenges.

Nestled in beautiful woodland, Lorne Estate provides the ideal setting for action - packed adventure. This years Scheme promises an array of exhilarating outdoor activities designed to build confidence, teamwork and resilience while ensuring plenty of fun along the way.

What's on the programme?

Participants will embark on an unforgettable journey filled with adventurous activities such as:

  • Sky High - high ropes, climbing, ziplining, abseiling, crate and gladiator challenge.
  • Feet on the ground - archery, bushcraft, survival skills, team games and orienteering.
  • Zen Zone - minding our minds with activities to support wellbeing and peace of mind.

Our exciting Senior Scheme is back and is designed just for 14–16-year-olds — helping them build the skills they need for the next chapter of their teenage life.

Through fun and challenging outdoor activities, we’ll explore:

  • Personal Development – discover strengths and set goals
  • Confidence & Resilience – bounce back stronger
  • Leadership & Communication – speak up and take charge

All in a supportive, hands-on environment where learning feels like adventure.

Summer Scheme

Week One - Monday 30th June - Friday 4th July.

Week Two - Monday 7th July - Friday 11th July

Week Three - Wednesday 16th July - Friday 18th July.

Week Four - Monday 21st July - Friday 25th July.

Week Five - Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August.

Week Six - Monday 4th August - Friday 8th August.

Week Seven - Monday 11th August - Friday 15th August.

Week Eight - Monday 18th August - Friday 22nd August.

Senior Scheme

Week One - Monday 21st July - Friday 25th July.

Week Two - Monday 4th August - Friday 8th August.

Time: Drop off available from 8.45am for 9.30am start. Finish: 4.00pm

Cost:

Summer Scheme: £150 for a week (£90 for 3 days in week two). Alternatively, book individual days at a cost of £35 per day.

Senior Scheme: £150 for 5 days. The senior scheme is only available as a full week.

Please bring: A day bag containing warm layers, waterproof coat, change of clothes, a refillable water bottle, a packed lunch and snacks for the day, any medication required which must be clearly labelled and a small amount of money for the tuck shop (Optional).

Terms and Conditions

Please read these carefully and ensure you agree to them before making your booking.

We reserve the right to exclude or refuse any person at any time prior to or during the scheme if their behaviour is not compatible for the safety and enjoyment of the scheme. No refund will be provided.

We do not accept liability for loss or damage of any personal items belonging to participants. We recommend that items such as mobile phones should be left at home.

Should you cancel within 8 weeks of the event a charge of 50% of the overall fee will apply.

Should you cancel within 2 weeks of the event a charge of 100% of the overall fee will apply.

Places cannot be transferred to another participant, nor can they be transferred to another day.

The hours of our scheme days are detailed on our website at time of booking and we assume full responsibility of your child during this time. No supervision is provided before the start time and it is your responsibility to ensure your child is collected promptly as we do not provide a late pick up service. We appreciate that something unforeseen may happen which might mean a participant is not collected on time. If this happens then we expect that you will contact our office on 028 90425212 as soon as possible. Repeated abuse of this will result in exclusion of the participant on our schemes. No refund will be provided.
